Trump reappears on social media after rumors about his health

US President Donald Trump reappeared this Monday, September 1, with more than 40 posts on social networks in just over a day, after the silence he maintained over the weekend, which sparked speculation about his health.

Between Saturday night and Sunday, Trump posted a wide variety of posts on his official Truth Social account, accusing a worker working on some White House renovations of scratching some marble slabs, defending his efforts in Washington, D.C. to reduce crime, thanking potential Nobel Peace Prize nominations, and recalling alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, all ending with a "GOOD NIGHT."

This pace, even high for the president himself, comes hours after rumors about the president's health began to spread across the country, especially on social media, due to his low profile in recent days.

One of Trump's posts was a photograph allegedly taken over the weekend in which he was seen kicking a goal with former football coach Jon Gruden, as if to quell any doubts.

The 79-year-old president was diagnosed last July with chronic venous insufficiency. , a benign and normal ailment in the elderly, and since then he has occasionally been seen with swollen ankles or trouble walking.

Added to this was an unusual silence over the weekend, which he spent mostly playing golf at his Virginia club and very distant from the press that follows him everywhere.
