Invima orders recall of famous Pomys makeup remover: check if you have these batches due to health risk

The National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance (Invima) issued a health alert regarding Pomys brand Micellar Water , one of the most popular facial cleansing products in the country, due to microbiological contamination that could affect consumers' skin.
Invima (National Institute of Food and Drug Administration) has ordered the voluntary recall of several batches of Pomys Micellar Water, in its "Roses" and "Cucumber and Calendula" presentations. The measure was taken after the product's manufacturer, Productos Familia SA, detected that some units did not meet safe microbiological parameters.

Simply put, the tests revealed that these specific batches of the product may contain microorganisms outside of acceptable limits. This compromises the safety of the makeup remover and could cause adverse skin effects, such as irritation or unwanted reactions, especially in people with sensitive skin.
Micellar water is a daily product for many people, used to remove impurities and makeup. Therefore, the health authority has emphasized the importance of consumers checking if they have any of the affected batches in their possession and discontinuing use immediately.
