A new poster, figures, and the return of Urdiales to his homeland are highlights of the Logroño Fair.

The San Mateo bullfighting fair in Logroño , which will be held between September 21 and 24, has scheduled a lineup that combines young bullfighting talents, such as the Mexican Diego San Román, with some of the leading figures in bullfighting, such as Morante de la Puebla, Andrés Roca Rey, Alejandro Talavante and Diego Urdiales from La Rioja.
The Toreo Arte y Cultura company unveiled the fair's lineup this Thursday, which includes three bullfights and a bullfight on horseback. The Logroño bullring will also host other "add-ons" to the fair, such as a bullfighting competition and the final of the La Rioja Bullfighting Bolsín.
The representative of the company that manages the bullring, Oscar Martínez Labiano, emphasized their interest in combining "established bullfighting figures" with other young bullfighters "who will soon reach the top."
Furthermore, the Logroño fair maintains its commitment to large livestock farms, with "El Capea" for the bullfight on horseback and the Fuente Ymbro, Núñez del Cuvillo, and Garcigrande brands for the bullfighting events on foot.
A fair from less to more
The fair organizers have decided, as they did last year, to divide the festivities into two categories that determine the price of tickets. Tickets on the 21st and 22nd will be cheaper, while those on the 23rd and 24th will cost more for fans.
The reason is that the company has designed the lineup to progress from less to more, with a starting point reserved for young bullfighters who, even now, have not yet taken the alternative and will do so just days before their appearance in Logroño with bulls from Fuente Ymbro. Thus, on the 21st, Mexican Diego San Román, Riojan Fabio Jiménez , and Aragonese Aaron Palacio will perform.
The following day will feature a bullfight on horseback, with bulls from El Capea, for Sergio Galán, Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza, and the Portuguese Diego Ventura, who, despite his extensive career, will be making his debut at the La Ribera bullring.
On the 23rd, Diego Urdiales, Roca Rey, and Pablo Aguado will fight against bulls from Nuñez del Cuvillo; and to conclude the fair, on the 24th, bulls from Garcigrande will arrive for Morante de la Puebla, Alejandro Talavante, and Borja Jiménez.
