The rain lashes against the windows and the ship rocks with a stomach-churning thunder, as the wind blows into the Strait of Gibraltar with a springlike fury these days. At least the African continent is looming on the horizon; it does indeed seem to be slowly getting closer, despite the swell, which has once again thrown the carefully planned travel plans into disarray.
