Airbrakes defective: Mallorca plane lands in the wrong place in Switzerland


A flight from Mallorca to St. Gallen, Switzerland, had to make an emergency landing in Zurich due to a brake flap failure. The passengers were transported by bus.

At 2:53 p.m., it was on approach to Altenrhein, but then suddenly began circling between Romanshorn and Sulgen, near Lake Constance, according to data on Flightradar24.com .
After three rounds, the plane flew towards Zurich, where it landed at 3:26 p.m. As the “Tagesanzeiger ” reports, the 50 passengers taken by bus to St. Gallen.

According to the Tagesanzeiger newspaper, People's confirmed a defect in the airbrakes. If such an incident occurs, the aircraft would require a longer runway than usual for safety reasons.
