Project A partner reveals: How the VC selects its investments

Project A is one of the largest early-stage venture capital firms in Germany. Founded in 2012, the venture capital firm recently launched its fifth fund , bringing the total assets under management to €1.2 billion.
Investments include well-known unicorns such as Quantum Systems , Trade Republic, and Sennder, as well as Arx Robotics , Knowledge, and Re:cap.
We don’t want to simply follow the momentum
In addition to the funds, Project A has two other contact points for founders: the Project A Studio , a program that supports founders in their ideation phase, and the digital consulting agency A11 , which supports startups in their growth.
The VC examines more than 2,000 European startups each year for potential investment, says Anton Waitz. He has been a General Partner at Project A for almost ten years.
