BYD chooses Offenbach for new German headquarters

BYD, the world's leading manufacturer of electric vehicles, is moving into its new DACH headquarters in the GROW office complex in Offenbach am Kaiserlei. The more than 5,000 square meters will house offices and spacious exhibition space, strengthening the entire region's position as an important business location.
The decision is a clear signal of the dynamism in the Rhine-Main region. BYD Automotive GmbH, the German subsidiary of the Chinese technology group, has signed a lease for 5,171 square meters. The space is divided into 2,890 square meters of office space on the sixth floor and 2,221 square meters for exhibition and sales on the ground and first floors. Plans include a showroom with a gallery and over seven meters of ceiling height to showcase the all-electric models.
A commitment to the Offenbach locationFrom Offenbach, the company plans to further expand its business in German-speaking markets. "The central location in Germany and the modern property convinced us," explains Maria Grazia Davino , SVP Regional Managing Director of BYD. "We can't wait to move to Offenbach Kaiserlei with our team." The choice underscores the attractiveness of the district, which serves as a link between Offenbach and Frankfurt.
The GROW building at Strahlenbergerstrasse 45 was built in 1995 and has been comprehensively revitalized by its owner, NAS Invest, since 2022. The complex offers approximately 22,600 square meters of flexible floor plans, landscaped courtyards, and technical equipment designed for sustainability. The underground parking garage can be equipped with e-charging stations throughout, reflecting the new tenant's strategic focus. Thanks to its direct connection to the A661 motorway and the S-Bahn station, Frankfurt and the airport can be reached in around 15 minutes.
