Antalya breaks all-time record for daily tourist arrivals

Türkiye’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, announced that the city of Antalya has set a new all-time record for daily international tourist arrivals. On Saturday, July 26, a total of 104,359 foreign tourists entered the city—marking the highest single-day figure in its tourism history.
In a statement shared via his official social media account, Minister Ersoy highlighted Antalya’s continued rise as a global tourism powerhouse. “Antalya has once again made history. This record clearly reaffirms the city's strong position on the international tourism stage,” he stated.
As July draws to a close, Antalya has already welcomed approximately 2.3 million visitors this month alone. Since the beginning of 2025, the city has hosted more than 8.5 million foreign tourists, according to the minister.
Ersoy emphasized that Antalya is no longer just a holiday destination but a key player in global tourism. “With its natural beauty, rich history, cultural heritage, high-quality services, and exceptional hospitality, Antalya continues to inspire admiration around the world,” he noted.
Minister Ersoy attributed this success to the synergy between the public and private sectors, as well as ongoing strategic investments. He extended his gratitude to all tourism professionals, including hotel staff, tour guides, drivers, travel agencies, and public institutions. “This achievement belongs to all of us. The Century of Türkiye will also be the century of tourism,” he concluded.
