The pretty little Greek island with world's 'clearest waters' - not Corfu or Crete

This pretty island is one that keeps impressing its visitors - yet you might not have even heard of it. While it is not as famous as some other Greek islands such as Corfu or Santorini, it’s well worth a visit. And it has just earned a title that makes it even more deserving of tourists heading to its shores.
Kimolos is known for its picturesque streets, and it’s no surprise it continues to wow those who choose to holiday there. The island preserves its traditional character, it is located close to Milos.
The island is home to amazing beaches and in its main town, Chorio, you’ll find charming architecture and exciting streets to explore.
According to The Greek Reporter, the island has been named as the home to the cleanest waters in the world.
It says: “US travel agency Florida Panhandle released its list of beaches with the clearest waters in the world recently.
“To come to its conclusion, it created a seed list of 50 beaches across the globe that ranked highest on traveler review websites.”
Each beach’s score was then calculated based on the percentage of reviews that mentioned “clear water.”
Through analysing over 2.4 million reviews, the research concluded that Prassa Beach in Kimolos, Greece, thus has the clearest waters in the world.
One person who visited the beach wrote on Tripadvisor: “The most beautiful beach on the island. Blue waters from the reflection of white sand.
“Finally an unorganized beach, without umbrellas and sun loungers. A necessary prerequisite to have an umbrella with you as the almonds are few. There are other beaches on the island... but not like this one!”
Another penned: “We went on a day trip from Milos but will definitely come back to enjoy this amazing beach more days on a next trip.”
