Ukrainian champion to invest half a billion dollars in Poland

In a press release from Polcom, quoted by PAP Biznes, it was indicated that Boosteroid is already present in Ukraine, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and perceives Poland as a strategic step in geographical, technological and commercial terms.

Technological and operational partner - Polcom from Skawina is the owner of two Polish data centers . It provides Boosteroid with infrastructure and technical support in a colocation model.

It was reported that the investment began with $3 million earmarked for launching a new server environment , but in the coming years the company plans to allocate $250 to $500 million for further expansion.

- Boosteroid's goal is to be present in all regions of the world, including Africa, by 2030. In the next 5-7 years , we plan to reach at least 100 million active users worldwide. The CEE region is expected to account for up to 10 percent of our global user base, with Poland accounting for about 3-5 percent, said Ivan Shvaichenko, CEO of Boosteroid, quoted in a press release.

- To support this growth, Boosteroid plans to invest USD 8-10 billion in infrastructure during this period, 3-5 percent will fall in Poland - he added.

It was indicated that the Boosteroid business model assumes a full return on investment within 2–3 years.
