The best Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge deal isn’t from Sky, EE or Vodafone

The best Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge deal isn’t from Sky, EE or Vodafone

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, a super-thin version of its popular S25 line up. The new device boasts the same main camera and titanium build as the pricier S25 Ultra but tips the scales lighter than all other models in the line up and is just 5.8mm thick.

I’ve already had hands-on time with the impressively svelte phone, and it’s available to pre-order from all major UK phone retailers.

The phone costs £1,099 for 256GB if you buy it outright, or £1,199 for the 512GB version. All UK retailers are currently running an introductory offer where you can pre-order the 512GB model for the £1,099 price of the 256GB version.

That applies if you buy the phone upfront SIM free from Samsung, but most of us don’t have a spare grand rattling around the coffers to drop on a nice new phone.

But if you are due a phone upgrade and you want to pick up the S25 Edge, I’ve scoured deals from the most popular UK providers to find what I believe is the best deal on the new phone.

Mobiles.co.uk is selling the Galaxy S25 Edge for £42.99 per month on the iD Mobile network. This tariff is for 24 months and includes 100GB of monthly 5G data, plus unlimited calls and texts.

It’s one of the only offers I could find where you get the phone for free upfront and just pay a monthly price for two years. I don’t think that price is bad for the slim S25 Edge either, and overall, including a small price rise each March as stated by the provider, the total cost over two years is £1,052.76.

If you don't mind paying slightly more, you can get the same phone but with the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Samsung Watch 7 (40mm), Clear Case and 45W fast charger worth £578 all totally free and included.

This offer costs £149 upfront and is then £39.99 for the same 100GB plan. View the deal here.

Mobiles.co.uk is owned by Currys, who also owns the iD Mobile network, and its pricing is always very transparent. It says exactly what you will pay overall over the term of the contract, information other providers tend to make it much harder to find.

I believe this is because other providers are much more expensive, and Mobiles.co.uk is OK with highlighting its competitive pricing. I tested this theory by checking EE, Vodafone, O2, Three and Sky and put in my basket the cheapest way I could find to get the S25 Edge today.

For a start, all five providers default to 36 month, three year contracts, 50 percent longer than Mobiles.co.uk. Paired with similar or higher costs, they all turn out to cost you much more, as a new customer, at least. Here are the costs I found for the 512GB S25 Edge from cheapest to most expensive:

  • Mobiles.co.uk
  • Vodafone
    • £1,289.92 over three years
  • Three
  • Sky
  • EE
    • £1,855.56 over three years
  • O2
    • £1,890.84 over three years

Note that apart from Mobiles.co.uk, these prices are the cost over 36 months with the original monthly price. The prices will be slightly higher when mid-contract price rises take effect.

You might be able to get a cheaper deal with your preferred operator if you are an existing customer, or you might have the money to pay a chunk upfront to pay less each month. But the numbers here clearly show that Mobiles.co.uk has the best price for the S25 Edge when you pre-order it before the phone’s on sale date of May 30, 2025.
