You Might Not Recognize Nicki Minaj on the Cover of Vogue Italia…

We have developed a love/hate relationship with Vogue Italia. The magazine is currently under the tutelage of Francesca Ragazzi, and not even covers starring the likes of Damiano David, Miriam Leone, Ariana Grande, and Loli Bahia have managed to impress over recent months. Next up on the cover of Vogue Italia is Nicki Minaj. Ragazzi, who has served as head of editorial content since 2021, secured the Trinidadian rapper and singer-songwriter as Italian Vogue‘s June 2025 cover star. The now four-time Vogue cover girl poses for Petra Collins for the occasion, with Patti Wilson reporting for styling duties. Minaj gazes down Collins’ lens in the captivating cover shot, dressed in a Fendi dress and jewelry from Cartier.

“Horrible. Thought it was Megan Thee Stallion at first glance. Nicki looks so washed out, and doesn’t suit this styling whatsoever. Another absolute flop of a Vogue Italia cover to add to the heap,” critiqued vogue28.

Armani shared the same sentiments, adding: “She really did get Photoshopped into looking like Megan. Shady!”
