The Life List is all set to land on Netflix but who are the actors bringing the rom-com to life?
Based on Lori Nelson Spielman's book of the same name, The Life List premieres tomorrow, Friday, March 28, on the streamer.
It follows Alex Rose, a grieving young woman who receives a pre-recorded video from her late mother. In the video, her mum instructs her to complete a bucket list from her teens.
The so-called 'Life List' includes playing a one-on-one basketball match against a pro and performing at an open mic night.
Ahead of the film's premiere, here is the lowdown on its cast.
Leading the romantic drama is Sofia Carson, who takes the role of bereaved young woman Alex Rose. Carson is no stranger to Netflix, she most recently starred in the streamer's hit thriller Carry-On.
The 31-year-old actress also featured in the streaming giant's 2022 romantic drama Purple Hearts.
She is also known for appearing in Disney's Descendants franchise, in which she portrayed Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen.
Taking the role of Alex's mother, Elizabeth, is Connie Britton, who recently featured in Netflix's political drama Zero Day.
Having started her acting career in the mid nineties, Britton has appeared in Friday Night Lights, Nashville, American Horror Story and Dirty John.
In 2021, she starred in season one of HBO hit drama The White Lotus, and received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series.
Along her journey of self-discovery, Alex sparks up a romantic connection with Brad. He is played by Kyle Allen, who is best known for his role in Steven Spielberg's 2021 West Side Story remake.
In 2022, Allen starred in Rosaline, a comedic retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, told from the perspective of Romeo's original love interest, Rosaline.
Alex's friend Garrett is played by Oxford-born actor Sebastian de Souza, who started out his TV career on E4's hit teen drama Skins.
De Souza has since enjoyed roles in acclaimed BBC series Normal People, historical drama The Great and Netflix's 2023 romantic thriller Fairplay.
Other notable cast members include Twilight actor José Zúñiga as Samuel, Jack Ryan's Jordi Mollà as Johnny, Dear Edward star Dario Ladani Sanchez and Past Lives actor Federico Rodriguez, as Alex's brothers.
The Life List premieres March 28 on Netflix.
