I recently heard Marie Claire editor in chief Nikki Ogunnaike describe the urge to shop as having a case of "the shoppies." Once a month, I get this insatiable desire to purchase an entirely new wardrobe. It's completely irrational (and borderline financially irresponsible), but now I know it has a name. "The shoppies" can only be cured by purchasing something new, and this month's medicine came in the form of perusing my favorite brands (COS, Free People, Adidas, and more) to see what summer wardrobe basics, footwear, and accessories they had in store.
