Sabrina Carpenter Morphs Into Christina Aguilera in the 2025 Versace ‘La Vacanza’ Campaign

Make no mistake that the house of Versace sure does love their muses. From the supermodels of the 90s (including Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer) to brand ambassadors such as Anne Hathaway – the muses of Versace are always out in full force. Given the fact that Donatella Versace has now exited the role as Versace creative director (and Dario Vitale appointed as successor), we are certain that the muses of Versace will forever be on rotation as the brand heads into its new chapter under Prada Group. Prior to stepping down as creative director, Donatella fixed her gaze upon Sabrina Carpenter, who starred alongside Alexandre Sarr in the Versace Eyewear campaign to close out 2024. The American singer returns as the face of Versace, this time for the 2025 La Vacanza campaign offering, and poses via the lens of photographer Carlijn Jacobs.

“None of it feels very Versace to me, and that hair is FRIED. All I’m seeing here is a naff recreation of some 90s album cover and Sabrina morphing into Christina Aguilera,” noted vogue28.
“Did they have to take this direction?” asked proseccotabis. “Nothing about Sabrina is luxurious or niche. Are they looking to sell their bags to 14-16-year-old fangirls? I hated the Dua Lipa collab, but this is even tackier!”
GivenchyHomme commented: “I’ve seen Guess campaigns that look more luxurious than this. It’s a clear example of why Versace ended up in its current state!”
“You wouldn’t be allowed to set foot on a Guess shoot with hair looking that thin,” shrieked tigerrouge.
Yet not everyone was left so displeased. “I like it. The hair could have been better IMO, and the photography a little warmer but still,” reasoned forum member kokobombon.
“This isn’t bad at all and she’s SUCH a Versace girl,” enthused Squizree.
“Gorgeous photos. She’s selling it,” Alquimista raved.
