Pulse on Netflix release date, cast, plot and trailer: All there is to know about medical drama from Lost showrunner

Pulse, a new medical drama series that's already being compared to Grey's Anatomy by Netflix subscribers, is set to make its debut.
The show, set in Miami's Level 1 Trauma Center, delves into the chaotic world of Maguire Hospital, tracking the professional and personal lives of its staff.
The anticipation for Pulse is high, given that it's created by Carlton Cuse, who previously worked on the iconic series Lost for six seasons.
Cuse, also known for his work on shows like Colony, Bates Motel, Locke and Key, and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, will be collaborating with Hawaii Five-0 and The Equalizer writer Zoe Robyn.
Here's everything you need to know about Netflix's Pulse before it hits the screen.

The release date for Pulse on Netflix is just around the corner. The show is set to premiere on Thursday, April 3, on Netflix.
Comprising 10 episodes, fans can binge-watch the entire series as the full box set will be available on the initial release date.
Among the familiar faces appearing in the series are Pennyworth and Endeavour actor Jack Bannon as Tom Cole, The Boys' Jessie T Usher as Sam Elijah, and The Flight Attendant star Colin Woodell as Xander Phillips.
They'll be joined by The Fall of the House of Usher's Willa Fitzgerald, Warrior star Chelsea Muirhead, and Vampire Academy actress Daniela Nieves.
Justina Machado, star of Queen of the South, is set to play a pivotal role in Pulse as Natalie Cruz, the Chair of Surgery.

With only a few days left before Pulse hits Netflix, here's the official synopsis for the medical drama: "As a hurricane barrels towards Miami's busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms is unexpectedly thrust into a promotion when beloved Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips is suspended.
"Amid the worsening storm and an onslaught of trauma cases, the hospital goes into lockdown, and Danny and Phillips must find a way to work together - even as the bombshell details of a complicated and illicit romance between them begin to spill out.
"The rest of the ER is left to process the fallout of their relationship while balancing their own challenges, both personal and professional, as they work under the pressure of life-or-death stakes.
"Because for this tight-knit group of doctors, saving their patients' lives is often less complicated than living their own."
Pulse premieres on Thursday, April 3, on Netflix.
