- Princess’ new reality show The Princess Diaries aims to give an unfiltered look at her life.
The children of Katie Price and Peter Andre are stepping into the spotlight—on their own terms. In their first solo TV interview, Princess and Junior Andre shared heartfelt reflections on growing up with celebrity parents while navigating the pressures of fame.
Their candid revelations come just as their mother publicly criticized Princess’ new reality show, adding another layer to the family’s complex dynamic.

During their appearance on This Morning, the siblings didn’t hold back when discussing the challenges of growing up in the public eye.
Princess stated:
“I feel like the way I think about it is if you’re putting yourself out there, you have to expect negativity and positivity too. We learnt from our parents how to deal with it. There are horrible people but we just have to deal with it.”
Junior added:
“Growing up in the public eye comes with its pros and cons. We keep a lot of things private, people think they know a lot more than they do. We’re normal and humble, we don’t feel different to anyone else. We’re all human.”

Their words highlight the resilience they’ve developed, shaped by their parents’ experiences with media scrutiny.
A Glimpse Into Princess’ New Reality Show and Family TensionsThe interview also served as a preview for The Princess Diaries, Princess’ upcoming ITV2 reality series. She described the show as an authentic look at her life:
“I’m really excited, it has been very intense filming but I can’t wait for everyone to watch it. You see my everyday life and what I do. You see my grown confidence, my family, it’s really fun. I feel like a lot of people base assumptions from what they see online but this will give people a proper insight.”

However, the project has sparked controversy, with Katie Price claiming she was excluded from the production. She expressed frustration on her podcast:
“Princess is now officially an adult, so Mummy and Princess can now go out together, if certain people would let her be seen with me… Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”
Despite the tension, Junior stood by his sister, praising her growth:
“I’m a really proud big brother, she’s working hard and has a lot of great things going on. It’s a great time for a show.”
Reflecting on Childhood and Moving Forward
Princess didn’t shy away from addressing past struggles, revealing:
“I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
She also touched on her mother’s difficult periods:
“My mum, obviously being heartbroken, didn’t deal with that in the best way, she went through a very, very dark time, which is understandable. Which is hard for me because I was around adulty things that kids should never see.”
Yet, she acknowledged Katie’s personal growth:
“I wouldn’t say I’m fully, fully recovered from it but mum is such a different person and if you put her now to back then, she’s genuinely really fixed herself.”
