Netflix fans all say the same thing about heist series they 'can't stop watching'

Netflix's gripping thriller series Money Heist, with five seasons ready for a marathon session, boasts an impressive 94 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This Spanish sensation, originally known as La casa de papel (The House of Paper), has been a massive hit, chronicling the exploits of a band of skilled criminals.
Initially released under its Spanish title, the show was rebranded by Netflix for English-speaking audiences and gained international acclaim. The plot centres around two meticulously planned heists, one targeting the Royal Mint of Spain and the other the Bank of Spain, orchestrated by the enigmatic 'The Professor'.
The story is narrated by Tokyo, portrayed by Úrsula Corberó, whose perspective as one of the robbers adds layers of complexity to the narrative. Viewers are taken on a rollercoaster ride through a series of flashbacks, time jumps, and character backstories that reveal their true intentions.
Originally intended as a limited series with just two parts, Netflix extended Money Heist beyond its initial 15 episodes due to its overwhelming success. Fans have been captivated by its unique storytelling approach, with one enthusiast commenting: "I would definitely recommend it if you like your action. It's something I could watch again and again without getting bored."
The gang of thieves are holed up for 11 days, surrounded by police and holding hostages, as they await either a massive windfall or catastrophe.
The high-octane show explores the heist's thrill and unpredictability, as well as the emotional connections forged among the gang.
One reviewer said: "This is an absolutely amazing series," while another added. "It takes you through a emotional roller-coaster. Only complaint I have is how long the series is I wish I had more time to invest into it. I got to season three and I hope to finish the rest in the future."
Another fan said: "Usually I wouldn't give anything five stars, but this show surpassed my expectations in every way. Even if some parts of it were far-fetched, you can't help but enjoy it.
"I don't think any other show I've watched has left me on the edge of my seat quite like this one did."
Following its move to Netflix, the show topped the charts as the most-watched series for six weeks in a row, garnering praise from A-list fans such as footballer Neymar and author Stephen King.
