Must-watch TV: Love Is Blind UK, Adrian Dunbar makes TV return and In Flight

Love Island may be over, but there's plenty more relationship drama with the return of Love Is Blind UK.
The first season of the Netflix reality show was a hit when it was first released in 2024. Now, TV golden couple Emma and Matt Willis are back at the helm of the programme as they welcome new singletons ready for a shot at real romance.
Over on ITV, Adrian Dunbar makes a comeback as Alex Ridley in the second season of crime drama Ridley. Four new episodes plunge viewers into the police consultant's most harrowing case yet.
Elsewhere, Chris Hemsworth enlists the help of top scientists as he embarks on a mission to live better and longer in a brand new Disney + show.

Sunday, 9pm, ITV
Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar returns to the role of police consultant and jazz club owner Alex Ridley in four new feature length episodes of this crime drama.
Still mourning the deaths of his wife and daughter, Ridley is brought in by his former protégé, Detective Inspector Carol Forman (Bronagh Waugh) to investigate the trickiest cases in the north of England, beginning with a jewellery heist that ended in violence.
Meanwhile, his best friend and club co-owner Annie (Julie Graham) has embarked on a relationship with wheeler dealer Harry, and Ridley isn’t completely convinced that this new man is as nice as Annie thinks he is.

Sunday, ITV2
Princess Andre breaks her silence in this enlightening series, as she navigates her life and emerging influencer career. Featuring her father Peter Andre, stepmother Emily and brother Junior, the 18-year-old lifts the lid on her emotional journey.
Throughout the four-part series, Princess opens up on living in her parents' shadows, therapy after a traumatic incident in South Africa and her evolving identity in the limelight.

Tuesday, 9pm, Channel 4
Flight attendant and single mum Jo (Katherine Kelly) finds her world turned upside down when she is blackmailed into drug smuggling after her son is imprisoned in Bulgaria for a murder he swears he didn’t commit.
Coerced by gang member Cormac (Stuart Martin), Jo is forced to carry out his orders but turns to her ex-boyfriend, customs officer Dom (Ashley Thomas), for help while trying to find a way to save her son. The six part thriller continues on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday, 10pm, Sky Witness
New York’s Fugitive Task Force is back for a sixth and final season, with Dylan McDermott’s Remy Scott leading the team as they track down the most notorious fugitives on the FBI’s most wanted list.
Climate activists who have accidentally committed murder, a possible serial killer, and a hostage situation are among the cases the crack group have to solve, while Remy contemplates walking away from the action for good to start a quieter life with girlfriend Abby.

Tuesday, Sky
It’s time for the fourth and final season of the sci-fi comedy drama series about an alien who crash lands in a small Colorado town and takes on the identity of a doctor as part of his plan to destroy the human race. Alan Tudyk stars as the extra terrestrial who changes his mind and decides to defend our planet instead of obliterating it.

Proposing to your bride or groom without seeing them in the flesh sounds like a bad idea – but singles are queuing up to star on Netflix’s hit show Love Is Blind UK.
Back for a second series, last year six couples got engaged, two married, and Jasmine and Bobby Johnson have gone on to start a family.
In the show, singletons chat sight unseen through the walls of their pods. Once a proposal is made, they are allowed to meet and move in together. Hosted by Emma and Matt Willis, the show tries to find out if love really is blind.

Wednesday, Disney+
Prepare to hide behind the sofa as those acid-spitting, face-hugging creatures from the Alien movie franchise have made their way to TV for a new prequel series.
The eight part show is created by Noah Hawley, who previously adapted Fargo from an acclaimed film into a hit TV series, and is set in 2120, two years before the events of the 1979 movie Alien.
This time the action takes place on Earth, after a spaceship containing creatures collected from the darkest parts of the universe crashes into Prodigy City and a team is sent in to investigate.
Sydney Chandler stars as human/robot hybrid Wendy, who is trying not to be turned into monster munchies, and she is joined by Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther and Adrian Edmondson.

Wednesday, Channel 4
Amazing Spaces star George Clarke teams up with garden designer Luke Millard to help frazzled home owners decide whether to spend the majority of their home improvement budget on renovating their kitchen or redesigning their garden.
In each episode, once the owner has chosen which space needs an overhaul, the experts will deliver a bespoke design just for them, and will also be on hand to ensure the budget is spent on renovations and improvements that are both functional and beautiful for years to come.

Childhood friends Samia, Leo, David and Jess win 17 million Euros in the Marseille lottery in this French comedy drama series. There’s only one problem – they are all just 17 years old, so are too young to legally cash the ticket.
Their solution is to involve 18 year old Victoire, but as they juggle exams, family dramas and a fortune that seems out of reach, their problems are only just beginning.
Friday, Disney+
Marvel Avengers star Chris Hemsworth is on a mission to discover how to live better and longer in this National Geographic series. With the help of world class experts and friends, he undertakes three epic challenges to uncover science-backed skills we can all use to improve our lives.
In the first episode, that involves Chris learning to play the drums to boost his brain power, and then performing onstage during pal Ed Sheeran’s stadium tour.
That seems scary enough, but the Australian actor also takes on tough outdoor survival training to learn how to manage pain, and faces his fears by scaling a jaw-dropping height that would cause even Thor’s knees to tremble.

Divers exploring the wreck of the Dutch warship Klein Hollandia, a heritage team restoring the Prince Regent’s piano and the oldest hop growers in Britain are among the local folk sharing their love of the county.

Fantastic Four’s Vanessa Kirby stars as Lynette, who juggles multiple jobs while trying to care for her mother and her older brother Kenny.
Desperate to raise money so she can buy the ramshackle house the family are renting, she sets out on a dangerous odyssey over the course of one night to confront the people who owe her money. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Zack Gottsagen also star in this feature length crime drama.
