Is This the Absolute Best Vogue Mexico Could’ve Done with Jenna Ortega for September 2025?

As head of editorial content of Vogue Mexico, Karla Martínez de Salas keeps the magazine planted firmly on our radar here at theFashionSpot. Names like Isabeli Fontana, Gracie Abrams, Ester Expósito, Bad Bunny, Angelina Kendall, Rachel Zegler, Cameron Diaz, and Maria Klaumann have graced Mexican Vogue throughout 2025. Up next on the cover of Vogue Mexico is Jenna Ortega, who takes to the all-important September issue of the magazine. With covers of Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, and Vanity Fair under her belt, this marks Ortega’s very first Vogue cover appearance. Photographed by Paola Kudacki and styled by Andrew Mukamal, the American actress and star of Netflix’s Wednesday wears Christian Dior (a brand to which Ortega is brand ambassador) across the two Vogue Mexico and Vogue Latin America cover images.

“I don’t find Jenna Otega remotely interesting, but I don’t hate the second cover,” confessed mepps upon checking out the two covers.
“Second cover is better but it lacks polish and contrast. Jenna’s face looks flat,” Avonlea critiqued.
“I’m so happy to finally see her on the cover of Vogue. However, these images are disappointing,” shared forum member crmsn.
“Lovely but it’s almost always like walking on thin ice with her mostly due to how young she looks,” shared oaklee91.
“Not a Jenna Otega fan but that second cover really is quite lovely. Paolo Kudacki captured her beautifully in that particular shot. I love the coloring and the beauty styling – everything is working,” noted vogue28.
