Gracie Abrams Makes Her Vogue Cover Debut via Vogue Mexico’s July 2025 Issue

As head of editorial content of Vogue Mexico, Karla Martínez de Salas undoubtedly makes sure the magazine is planted firmly on our radar here at theFashionSpot. After all, the editor (who has held the position since 2016) has welcomed the likes of Ester Expósito, Bad Bunny, Angelina Kendall, Rachel Zegler, and Cameron Diaz as cover stars over the past several months. Up next on the cover of Vogue Mexico is Gracie Abrams, who fronts the July 2025 edition. The American singer-songwriter and Chanel ambassador stages her Vogue cover debut via the lens of photographer Sebastian Faena. In the portrait cover shot, Abrams gazes down Faena’s lens, dressed by Vogue Mexico’s fashion director, Valentino Collado, in a knitted vest top from Chanel (obvi).

“Who?” immediately asked Kimy Jo upon checking out the cover.
“Is she even known in Mexico? I live here and have no idea who she is,” shared zacatecas570.
“Hello? Gracie Abrams is the daughter of that guy who created that TV show a long time ago. Of course, she deserves a random Vogue cover,” Jacque Marcel commented.
“Very uninteresting to anyone who isn’t a fan of Gracie. Forgettable,” chimed in aracic.
Yet not everyone was left so dissatisfied. “A slightly different expression would’ve made this cover fantastic. It’s just OK,” reasoned forum member WAVES.
MModa most definitely liked what they saw, commenting: “I simply love this cover. It is the color scheme and Abrams’ hair and beauty that work so perfectly for me. I like her facial expression because it does not look forced.”
