Gordon Ramsay blasts Jonathan Ross for pricey £200 confession at lavish new restaurant

Gordon Ramsay was left up in arms after Jonathan Ross admitted he stole £218 worth of goods from his brand-new restaurant.
During Saturday’s edition (February 22) of The Jonathan Ross Show, the 64-year-old broadcaster welcomed a fresh batch of celebrities onto his late-night chat show.
This week, the dad-of-three welcomed the 58-year-old TV chef onto the show alongside actor Danny Dyer, Vanessa Williams and Olympian Keely Hodgkinson.
The culinary expert discussed his eldest daughter Holly’s upcoming wedding to Olympian Adam Peaty as well as the launch of his new restaurant called the Lucky Cat.
Ahead of his TV appearance, the Hell’s Kitchen star invited the TV presenter down to his lavish new eatery in the heart of Mayfair to try out his new meals for himself.
As they discussed his new mouth-watering menu, the Masked Singer star was forced to come clean about his misdeeds at the Michelin-star restaurant.
It was at this point that Jonathan confessed he didn’t leave the dinner table empty-handed after swiping five gold cat ornaments. The star pulled out two of the golden chopstick rests as he began: “Listen these are what they had the chopsticks on on the table, I thought you were allowed to take them home, wouldn't you think that?”
The studio erupted into laughter as Jonathan passed around the gold figures to his guests to inspect as he explained why he pocketed the goods.
He went on: “This was on the table and I took them home, and they’re quality, feel that! If you went there and that was on your table, you would take that home, wouldn’t you? I’ve got four, we left with four but we could have had way more”.
Gordon chuckled at the presenter as he pointed out: “Oh my God, we had 477 stolen last week, they cost £4.50 each for god’s sake. The cat’s get stolen at night”.
Jonathan countered: “Well, you shouldn’t make them so nice and so small! I genuinely thought this was a gift from the restaurant. I thought, ‘Isn’t that lovely?’ I went out and my pockets were chinking. I genuinely thought we were allowed to take them home”.
Getting more serious, Gordon asked: “Did you steal the big cats from the bathrooms as well?” to which Jonathan argued: “I didn’t steal, I took one because they had them for sale in the restaurant and I thought that was a thing”.
The culinary expert shouted: “They're £200 quid each for f**k’s sake, you can’t steal that!” Jonathan isn't the only customer who has swiped the golden keepsakes, after Gordon revealed he has been hit by a spate of thefts months after launching his new restuarant.
He revealed that hundreds of the lucky beckoning Japanese cat models called maneki-neko, which adorn the restaurant. Speaking on the chat'show, he revealed how he lost £2,146.50 in just one week.
