Forum Members Review the ‘Lazy’ Saint Laurent Menswear Spring 2026 Collection

The Spring 2026 season of Menswear Paris Fashion Week got off to a fine start earlier today, with The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode serving up Saint Laurent as the first major showcase. Last season, Anthony Vaccarello opted to present his menswear offering slap bang in the middle of Haute Couture week, but is back on the menswear schedule for Spring 2026. At the François Pinault-owned Bourse de Commerce building right in the heart of Paris, guests like Lila Moss and Rami Malek assembled within the vast show space. Models paraded around a pool of drifting porcelain bowls, donning a collection of oversized shorts, boxy trenches, and blazers with strong shoulders – in a mostly muted color palette with splashes of mustard and pool blue scattered throughout.

“All he does is put power shoulders on beanpoles, big yawn…” [visvim2001]

“It’s always the same formula – choose 3 basic looks, add hideous shoulder pads to make it look fashion enough and replicate 10 times. Every menswear collection shows how weak he is when there no archive to rely on.” [Avonlea]

“The teaser and inspiration felt very promising but the execution is flat. I wish it was more relaxed, leaning more on a hedonistic care free aspect. The casting is very very weak.” [GivenchyAddict]

“It’s a shame because I love all the mustards and browns. Power shoulders are such a COP OUT. I’m so sick of them. It doesn’t look ‘fierce’, it’s just lazy.” [Squizree]

“The use of color was the only highlight. Otherwise, a snooze fest as per usual from him.. We the people are tired!” [mteb123]

“Those pants with loose excess fabric around the waist are atrocious!” [FashionPower]

“The colors are nice. And at least it’s not his usual palette of black, white, and beige. That’s all I can say about this.” [KilltheLook]
