Forum Members React to Jonathan Anderson Becoming Sole Creative Director of Dior

It has been one of the worst kept secrets in fashion but today the official announcement finally dropped, of Jonathan Anderson becoming sole creative director of Christian Dior. Anderson was appointed creative director of Dior Men in April, succeeding Kim Jones. The London College of Fashion graduate and former Loewe creative director makes history with his latest appointment, becoming the first to lead all of Dior since Monsieur Dior himself. “‘It is a great honor to join the House of Dior,” Anderson said. “I look forward to working alongside its legendary Ateliers to craft the next chapter of this incredible story.”

“I am indifferent to this. Hopefully he changes his approach and does something more directional instead of the usual mashup of different gimmicks.” [Avonlea]
“I’m indifferent but curious. I am open to see what he proposes. [GRCF]
