Doja Cat Morphs Into Madonna on the ‘Atrocious’ Covers of V Magazine Fall Preview 2025
Stephen Gan has served as editor-in-chief of V Magazine from the get-go in 1999. Over two decades later, and Gan still has the knack for delivering a wealth of talent as the publication’s cover stars. Names like Candice Swanepoel, Alex Consani, Lisa (of Blackpink), Naomi Campbell, and Gigi Hadid have graced the cover of the New York-based magazine lately. Gan’s latest cover accomplishment for V Magazine #155 Fall Preview 2025 is Doja Cat. The American rapper and singer teams up with V regular Steven Klein for the occasion. The cover shoot is complete with styling from Nicola Formichetti. Across a duo of dynamic covers, Doja seemingly channels Madonna sporting a mashup of pieces from Dolce & Gabbana, Pressiat, Paumé Los Angeles, and Brandon Blackwood.
“Atrocious. Doja Cat, where? Would have assumed it was a C-list white drag queen doing a bad take on 2010s Madonna,” immediately called out KoV.
