CNN caused uproar among viewers as President Trump announced his new global tariffs in his “liberation day” speech. On Wednesday (April 2), the American news channel halted its live broadcast to stream the Republican leader’s groundbreaking speech.
He announced that the UK would be dealt immediate tariffs of 10 per cent, the EU at 20 er cent, Japan at 24 per cent, and China at 34 per cent. He also imposed a 25 per cent tariff on imported vehicles to the US. But as viewers tuned in across the globe, many spotted a striking change that left many scratching their heads.
