Chappell Roan Wears Off-The-Runway Alexander McQueen at Fashion Awards
Chappell Roan's meteoric rise to pop stardom in recent years has brought global focus not only on her talents as a musician but also as a fashion icon. The proof is in her dramatic and thematic looks; from dressing in Statue of Liberty drag at Gov Ball to wearing a gown fit for a porcelain doll to the Valentino show in Paris.
Roan sat front row at many top fashion houses shows this past spring for her first Paris Fashion Week — including Alexander McQueen on March 8, 2025. While she was there, it seems one of the many structured outfits caught her eye, because she wore a fresh-off-the-runway gown to an event in Los Angeles last night.
The pop star attended The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards on April 24 at the Beverly Hills Hotel to help honor major achievements in fashion. Roan walked the red carpet wearing a Victorian-style structured McQueen dress directly from the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection.
The gown's high neck featured folds of fabric woven together to create a sort of protective mask for the bottom half of Roan's face. The entire gown was made with floral-patterned material that was intricately sewn together, creating a peplum silhouette.

As for Roan's hair and makeup, the musician opted for a marionette-type style with dark, dramatic eyeliner, thin painted-on eyebrows, and bright pink cheeks. She wore her long, curly hair, brushed out and wavy and spilling on the sides.
