BBC Breakfast guest 'chokes up' as they pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after sad death

A BBC Breakfast guest "choked up" as they paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after his sad death.
The heavy metal legend died at the age of 76 on Tuesday (July 22), just weeks after reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates and performing a huge farewell concert for fans.
In a statement, his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."
During Wednesday's (July 23) edition of BBC Breakfast, hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay reflected on Ozzy's career and legacy, before speaking to his friend, Gene Simmons.
Speaking live from Los Angeles, the Kiss star said: "It's been such a sad day you know, it started this morning here in California with my phone going off and I thought it was just fake news."
Gene then tried to compose himself as he got emotional during the interview.
"Sorry, got choked up. Sorry about that," he said.
