Alex Consani Wore a Plunging Neckline at Her Met Gala 2025 Debut

Alex Consani just arrived on the Met Gala 2025 red carpet. For her debut at fashion’s biggest night of the year, she served up something major.

For the Met Gala 2025 theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and dress code, “Tailored for You,” Consani wore a polished but plunging white cutout gown with an embellished Swarovski collar that cascades down to the skirt. The dress hung down to her feet, draping in a mermaid shape. She styled it with matching dangling earrings and a large ring, but skipped the necklace.

As for beauty, Consani wore her signature light blond hair in a slicked-back low bun, showcasing her sharp cheekbones and bleached eyebrows. She did dark, smoky makeup with dramatic eyelashes and gems along her eyebrows. Skipping no detail, she went with milky white nails to match the cream color of her dress. Consani posed effortlessly, looking completely relaxed at her first Met Gala ever.

Consani has had a momentous year. In addition to walking countless runways across the major fashion weeks, the 21-year-old model was Teen Vogue’s November/December cover star. She also appeared in the December issue of Vogue, which was guest edited by Marc Jacobs. The British Fashion Council named her 2024 Model of the Year, making her the first ever out trans woman to take the title.

Now, Consani’s Met Gala debut marks another major milestone, since invitations are highly-coveted, even for models. She joins a list of esteemed models to attend, such as Naomi Campbell, Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Anok Yai, Imaan Hammam and more.
