Justin Bieber Credits Hailey Bieber for Making Him a ‘Better Man’ on <i>Swag II</i>

Justin Bieber is reflecting on his marriage on his new album, Swag II.

On the track “Better Man,” he sings about the positive effect that his wife, Hailey Bieber, has had on him. He also reminisces about their wedding day. The first verse goes: “So you say I jumped the broom and then I rushed right into you, and it’s amazing (Uh) / If I know one thing is true, you know exactly what to do and it’s amazing.” Later, he sings, “This feeling is a good one and a nice thing, uh / Church bells and throwing rice things, uh-huh.”

Justin and Hailey “jumped the broom” in September 2018 during a courthouse ceremony in New York City. They had a formal wedding the following year. The couple welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024.

Back in 2021, Justin spoke more about how Hailey’s good habits have rubbed off on him. “One thing that has been so helpful is my wife is so by the book,” he told Billboard. “She’s so structured and routine and so responsible.” One of Justin’s closest friends Ryan Good has also said that Hailey is a “strong, consistent, stabilizing force in his life.”
