Horrific incident at Üsküdar Marmaray! Woman dies after jumping onto the rails
The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on the Üsküdar Marmaray Station's Gebze route. According to reports, a woman named DM (26) jumped onto the tracks as the train approached the station. Police, fire, health, crime scene investigation, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene following the report.
The investigation determined that the young woman had died. Following the incident, Marmaray services were limited to a single line for a time, leading to long passenger queues at the station.
