Food poisoning in Küçükçekmece: Family of four narrowly escapes death
The incident occurred around 10:00 PM in a three-story building in the Söğütlüçeşme neighborhood of Küçükçekmece . Allegedly, a family living in the building had bought and cooked chicken for dinner. Shortly after eating dinner, the family of four felt nauseated and dizzy and called the emergency room. Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. After receiving first aid, the family was taken to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital by ambulance.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT HE WAS IN GOOD HEALTH
It was learned that the four people being treated were in good condition and not in life-threatening conditions. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Şerafettin Duman, a family member, spoke about the incident and said, "They probably bought chicken from outside. They brought it in, roasted it in the oven, and ate it. After eating, they all experienced nausea and dizziness. Later, when their hands started to go numb, they called an ambulance. They all took them to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. They were all in good condition. I saw the ambulance leaving. I think some of them were discharged. After the incident, the police and the ambulance arrived. They all left together."
