A truck and a light commercial vehicle collided in Manisa: 1 dead, 8 injured
The truck with the registration number 51 AAZ 172, driven by S.T. (24), who was going from Kula to Salihli, collided with the light commercial vehicle with the registration number 35 AY 1318, driven by Abdülbaki Ö. (47), at the Durasıllı Işıklı Junction of the Ankara-İzmir D300 Highway.
Upon notification, health, police and fire teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
In the accident, Z.Ç. (39), GNB (22), BD (26), DK (18), BK (22), MC (23), MK (18), İ.K. and Yeter B. (42) were injured.
Yeter B, one of the injured who was taken to various hospitals in the district by medical teams, could not be saved despite intervention.
It was learned that the lives of the injured, BD and M.C, were in critical condition.
The vehicle drivers were detained by police teams.
