3 vehicles in Kayseri were fined 56,000 TL for ignoring traffic rules.
According to information received, teams from the Kayseri Provincial Police Department's Traffic Control Branch conducted an investigation into images circulating on social media platforms of people drifting in the Talatpaşa neighborhood, repeatedly changing lanes to endanger traffic, and turning left where a left turn is prohibited. The teams identified the vehicle in the "Talatpaşa Neighborhood Drift" post as a tip-off. The driver was fined a total of 46,392 TL for "drifting," and his driver's license was confiscated for 60 days. The vehicle was also banned from traffic, and legal action was taken against the driver for "endangering traffic safety."
The vehicle in question, which was linked to another post titled "Endangering traffic by repeatedly changing lanes," was also identified by the teams, and the driver was fined a total of 9,267 TL for the related items.
A driver who made a left turn from a prohibited place was fined 993 TL.
