iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max features and Türkiye price

Ersin Kılıç / Apple 's new iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models were unveiled at the very end of the event. These two models are particularly notable for their significant design changes. The biggest difference this year is Apple's use of bolder, more vibrant colors instead of the pale tones it has long favored, but the real surprise lies in the radical changes made to the phone's rear surface.

Design Details

The new models, which feature a matte aluminum frame, now feature a glossy camera island on the rear, stretching the entire width of the device. The camera array is traditionally positioned on the left, while areas like the sensor and flash are positioned on the right. Apple has also added a square center section with a glossy glass-covered ceramic shield. This innovation, designed to both better dissipate heat and create a visually appealing two-tone design, gives the device the impression of being fitted with a ready-made accessory.

The full-width camera bar benefits not only the visual aspect but also the user experience. This significantly reduces the wobbling around corners of previous models, especially when placed on a table. While the lenses still protrude, the phone now feels much more stable.

The iPhone 17 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen. The Super Retina XDR ProMotion display offers a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3,000 nits of brightness. The energy-efficient LTPO technology aims for a smoother user experience and longer battery life.

Camera and Hardware Features

There are also significant updates to the camera. The triple-lens system remains, but each now has a resolution of 48MP. The new telephoto lens now has 8x optical zoom, up from the 5x on the previous model. Moving to the front, we see a 24MP selfie camera.

On the performance side, the A19 Pro processor, more durable Ceramic Shield 2 screen protection, the new Center Stage selfie camera and up to 8x optical zoom are among the prominent innovations.
