IDEF 2025 Opens Its Doors in Istanbul

The 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), one of the defense industry's global meeting points, has opened its doors at the Istanbul Expo Center. Hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, organized by KFA Fuarcılık AŞ with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industries and the management of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, the fair is attracting record attendance this year.
More than 400 International Companies, High-Level Delegations from 33 Countries
This year, IDEF 2025 is being attended by high-level military and civilian delegations from 33 countries, including defense ministers, chiefs of general staff, force commanders, and more than 120 deputy ministers. Participants from 44 countries will have booths at the fair, while over 400 international defense companies will be showcasing their latest products and technologies.
Land, Air and Sea Systems Together
The fair's land vehicles section features main battle tanks, armored vehicles, electronic warfare systems, rockets, guided missiles, and unmanned ground vehicles. The aircraft section features fixed-wing platforms, air defense systems, satellites, and aircraft engines, while the naval systems section features combat ships, unmanned surface and underwater vehicles (USAVs), and command and control systems. Next-generation technologies in security and logistics are also among the most popular items at the fair.
The fair is held in 4 different locations.
This year, IDEF will be held at four different locations: the Istanbul Fair Center, Atatürk Airport, Ataköy Marina, and the WOW Congress Center. The final two days of the fair will be open to the public.
Open Until July 27
Supported by Anadolu Agency as a "Global Communications Partner," the fair hosts strategic collaborations, new export opportunities, and a technology showcase in the defense industry. The 17th International Defense Industry Fair will welcome visitors until July 27, 2025.
