Humanoid robot Atlas gains superhuman vision

Perhaps one of Boston Dynamics' most famous works, the humanoid robot Atlas, continues to gain new features. Atlas, which has gained new superhuman vision and object tracking features to become more adept on the industrial side, will be able to easily handle more complex tasks.

ATLAS IS BECOMING MORE CAPABLE

Atlas was first to perform acrobatic movements that required muscles much better than other robots. With the new system, more advanced features such as 3D spatial awareness and instant object tracking were added to Atlas.

Thanks to these additions, it will be possible to separate objects that are difficult to separate from each other in industrial tasks more easily. It was reported that Atlas can detect even small partitions on the inside and outside of shelves with precision.

Reportedly, Atlas knows and can control not only what it sees but also what it does.
