Bomb Attack on Military Facility in Pakistan: 6 Soldiers Killed, 5 Attackers Neutralized

A car bomb attacked a military facility belonging to the border guards in Bannu, Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police said the attack was followed by a series of large explosions and heavy gunfire.
The attackers reportedly infiltrated the facility, and security forces cordoned off the area and launched an operation. Residents were urged to remain indoors for safety reasons. Witnesses reported that the force of the explosion scattered vehicle parts along Kohat Road.
The Pakistani Army released a statement saying that six soldiers were killed and five attackers were neutralized in the clash with the attackers. It also added that three civilians were injured in the incident.
It was stated that the operation in the region is continuing and security forces are on alert against a possible second attack.
