The assistant director of the series 'Emily in Paris' died during filming

Diego Borella, assistant director of the popular TV series "Emily in Paris," died during the filming of the fifth season in Venice.
Borella, 47, collapsed in front of the crew while preparing to film the final scenes of the new season. According to La Repubblica, despite the best efforts of paramedics at the scene, Borella could not be saved. The cause of death is believed to be a heart attack.
Following the sad incident, filming of the series starring Lily Collins was temporarily halted.
Born in Venice in 1978, Diego Borella was an accomplished assistant director and writer who trained in cities such as Rome, London, and New York and worked on projects around the world. Filming for the fifth season of "Emily in Paris" began in Venice on August 15 and was scheduled to wrap on Monday.
