Police officer who suffered a heart attack during the operation was martyred

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, in his statement on the social media platform X account, stated that security forces are working relentlessly to prevent drug dealers from passing through Kayseri.

Çiçek, who reported that police officer İbrahim Birol, who was on duty at the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Branch during an operation against drug dealers today, had a heart attack and lost his life, made the following statement:

"In today's red-handed operation, the poison dealers who did not obey the 'stop' warning of our police were caught red-handed and captured before they could poison our youth. However, in the meantime, our Narcotics Department personnel, police officer İbrahim Birol, had a heart attack and could not be saved despite the interventions and became a martyr while on duty. I wish God's mercy on our martyr and offer my condolences to his relatives and our entire nation."
