NEWS CENTER - Efecan Dianzenza , who participated in Survivor last year and shocked viewers with his early elimination, was involved in allegations of a forbidden love affair. Following these allegations, his ex-wife, Duygu Çavdar , made notable moves and removed photos of him from her Instagram account.

They got divorced

Following the allegations, Duygu Çavdar officially decided to divorce. The couple had ended their long relationship. Months after the divorce, Efecan Dianzenza made his first statement.

"THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE"

Making statements that were like a confession, Efecan said, "I made the biggest mistake of my life. I broke up the woman I loved more than my life and my 16-year marriage."

I don't know where to begin. From the outside, you'd think I'd just go on with my life as if nothing had happened, but that's not the case. Inside, I'm filled with utter devastation and regret. I made the biggest mistake of my life. I broke up the woman I loved so much and my 16-year marriage.

This doesn't excuse any of the mistakes I made. When I first went to a therapist, my first word was "help." Confronting little Efecan was the most painful and transformative experience. Ultimately, I lost my most precious possession: my family.

Since the beginning of September, I've been doing everything I can to win back my family. I know with peace of mind that there is another Efecan. I've never seen a woman like Duygu in this world. She is everything to me. I apologize to everyone who loves us. My family is all I have, and I will fight to win them back.
