Early morning visit to the July 15 Martyrs' Memorial

As part of the commemoration events held on the 9th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, the July 15 Martyrs' Monument located on the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge was flooded with citizens since the morning hours.

One of the first groups to visit was comprised of children. They prayed for the souls of those martyred on the night of July 15th. They then learned about the treacherous coup attempt that night and learned about its events. Following the visit, some children shared their feelings and emphasized the importance of patriotism and national unity.

Arda Demir, a 13-year-old who visited the monument, said, "The Republic of Turkey cannot be destroyed, we commemorated our martyrs here and prayed."
