Car driven by unlicensed 14-year-old boy hits woman sitting on bench

The accident occurred in Tuzla on February 11. The 14-year-old driver, who was on the road with two friends, lost control of the car and hit Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who was sitting on a bench in front of her workplace at the time.

While Kaydan was stuck under the car, the driver and his friends who got out of the car asked for help from the people around. Upon notification, health, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire teams who arrived at the scene pulled Kaydan out of the car after working for 1.5 hours.

The injured person, who was given first aid by the medical team at the scene, was taken to hospital where it was learned that he had fractures in his waist and various parts of his body. Following the incident, the unlicensed driver was released.
