Epidemic alert issued: Egg poisoned 95 people! Alarm issued in that region...

A salmonella outbreak linked to eggs has sickened 95 people in the US. The outbreak, caused by eggs distributed in California and Nevada, has been detected in 14 states. Eighteen of the patients were hospitalized.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) has recalled "Sunshine Yolks" and "Omega-3 Golden Yolks" large brown eggs from a California-based company. These eggs were cited as the source of the outbreak.
CALIFORNIA CASES ARE ALARMSINGOf the 95 cases, 73 have been reported in California. While no deaths have been reported so far, experts say the true number of cases could be much higher.
“This may just be the tip of the iceberg,” warned Dr. Matthew Moore of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. According to the CDC, only about one in 30 salmonella infections are diagnosed.
Salmonella bacteria cause diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps. Symptoms appear within 6 hours to 6 days and usually resolve within 4-7 days. The CDC recommends contacting a healthcare provider if you experience severe symptoms.
This is the second egg-related salmonella outbreak in 2025. A similar outbreak earlier in the year sickened 134 people, hospitalized 38, and killed one person.
The CDC's FoodNet system, which tracks foodborne illnesses, was restricted this year to tracking only salmonella and a specific strain of E. coli. This change from the system, which previously tracked eight bacterial species, is raising concerns among experts.
