China is starting to get 'doctor doctors' for toys because of Labubu

Labubu's popularity has led to the emergence of "toy doctors" in China who repair the dolls, the South China Morning Post reports.

According to the publication, such "doctors" take a "course of treatment" of 10% of the cost of the toy. On average, a regular Labubu costs about 100 yuan. The newspaper notes that in China, fashionable girls carry doll figures on their handbags. And this leads to their damage or contamination.

It is reported that many life hacks for eliminating scratches and other damage to dolls are being spread on social networks. But "toy doctors" do it professionally and efficiently, the author of the publication notes.

The publication also writes that the masters do not limit themselves to "treating" Labubu alone. They also work with other toys popular in China.
