Siemens profit rises to €2.2 billion

Siemens reported this Thursday a net result of 2.2 billion euros in the third fiscal quarter (ended June 30), which represents an increase of 5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
In a statement, Siemens justified the result, in part, due to a gain of 200 million euros from the completion of the sale of part of the airport logistics business.
"Our third-quarter performance demonstrates that Siemens is delivering robust results despite global market volatility. We are seeing sustained growth in orders, revenue, and net income," said Roland Busch, Chairman and CEO of Siemens AG, in a statement.
In the quarter ending June 30, order volume rose 28% to €24.7 billion, while revenue grew 5% to €19.4 billion.
The company thus confirmed its outlook for fiscal year 2025, “excluding effects related to Altair and Dotmatics, which were successfully acquired ahead of schedule, and excluding gains from the sale of Innomotics.”
