Russian attack on Kyiv targets EU delegation, killing 10

The President of the European Council, António Costa, denounced that Russian missiles hit the European Union (EU) delegation in Kiev, Ukraine, today.

The Ukrainian Air Force released a daily report on Russian attacks from last night and early morning. Since 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Russia has launched 598 drones, two aeroballistic missiles, nine ballistic missiles, and 20 cruise missiles against Ukraine. Of the more than 600 launches, 13 hit targets, and fragments of the hit aircraft fell in 26 other locations. The greatest damage was recorded in the capital, Kyiv.
The death toll from the Russian attack on Kyiv this morning has risen from eight to ten, reports the Kyiv Independent . The number of injured has also risen, reaching 48. The most recent figures indicated 45 injured.
Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian attack on Kyiv this morning and offered condolences to the families of the victims. The Ukrainian president once again accused Russia of choosing "ballistic missiles over the negotiating table." "Russia is still taking advantage of the fact that at least part of the world ignores murdered children and seeks excuses for Putin," the head of state wrote on social media.
From this "part of the world," Zelensky singles out China and Hungary, two countries from which he says he expects a reaction, having previously called for an end to the war. "The death of children should stir stronger emotions than anything else. We expect a response from all those who called for peace but now remain silent instead of taking principled stands," the message continues.

Russia attacked Kyiv early this morning with ballistic missiles and drones. The strikes hit residential, office, and school buildings in several parts of the Ukrainian capital, authorities reported, as cited by the Kyiv Independent .
The attacks killed eight people, including a 14-year-old teenager, and injured 45, 30 of whom required hospitalization, including seven children. Emergency and rescue operations are still ongoing, with approximately 1,500 personnel on the scene. At least three people are buried in the rubble of a five-story residential building that was completely destroyed, the Interior Minister reported, as quoted by Ukrainska Pravda .
