Portugal draws with Nigeria ahead of Euro
The Portuguese women's football team drew 0-0 against Nigeria on Monday, in the last preparation game before participating in the final phase of the European Championship, in Switzerland, between 2 and 27 July.
At the José Gomes Stadium, in Amadora, Francisco Neto's team were held to a goalless draw by the Nigerians , in a match in which Francisca Nazareth, who is recovering from injury and is the main doubt for the final list of players called up, has not yet played.
The Portuguese team, which arrived at this game after four consecutive defeats in League A of the Nations League, ending up relegated, will face, in its third consecutive presence in the final stages of the European Championships, the teams of Spain (July 3), Italy (July 7) and Belgium (July 11), in Group B.
