Taylor Swift is engaged! Travis Kelce proposed to the singer

And finally, she's engaged! Taylor Swift announced on her Instagram page that she was proposed to by her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

On the social network, the singer shared several images of the moment of the proposal, saying in the caption: "Your English teacher and your Physical Education teacher are getting married."

In the images, which you can see in the publication below, the 35-year-old artist and her partner, also 35, appear in a truly enchanted setting, full of flowers.

To the great joy of her fans, known as 'Swifties', Taylor also shows off her engagement ring, which stands out for its generously sized stone.

As People magazine previously revealed, the couple is vacationing at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Mont., along with mutual friends, namely Erin Andrews and her husband Jarret Stoll. However, it's unknown whether the proposal took place there.

How did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's love story come about?

The love story between the 'Cruel Summer' singer and the Kansas City Chiefs athlete began in July 2023, after the American football player attended a Swift concert from the Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium (his team's stadium).

As he later revealed, the athlete's plan was to meet the singer that same day and give her a bracelet he made for her. However, this was not possible. Instead, he had to ask someone from the performer's team to deliver the gift, along with his phone number. Meanwhile, Taylor would later respond via phone call after hearing him say on his podcast that he wanted to meet her.

The first romance rumors emerged in September 2023, after the singer was seen watching a Kelce game alongside the athlete's mother, Donna.

"We actually had enough time to get to know each other without anyone knowing, which I'm grateful for," Taylor Swift revealed in an interview she gave to Time magazine in 2023, after being named one of the publication's Persons of the Year.

"By the time I went to that first game, we were already a couple. I think people think they saw our first date at that game. We wouldn't be crazy enough to do that," he said.

Taylor Swift had her boyfriend's unconditional support to release her new album

On August 12th, Taylor Swift announced the release of her new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', on the podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, entitled 'New Heights'.

Travis was very excited to share details about his girlfriend's new album - her 12th - which will be released on October 3rd.

On this occasion, the artist recalled the beginning of her relationship with her now fiancé, particularly a moment when she asked him a question, which she now considers "crazy", given her ignorance regarding the rules of the sport her partner practices.
