This Tuesday, July 29, José Maria Barcia , the artist's advisor, released a statement about what has been said lately about the complaint.

“In recent months, the personal lives of Manuel Marques and his family have been exposed in various ways, with malicious opinions, insinuations and unspeakable lies,” he began by telling Fama ao Minuto .

“The gravity of the situation will require reporting to the competent authorities and respective professional associations to open criminal investigations,” he revealed.

Finally, he stated: "We would like to remind you that Manuel Marques has remained silent, honoring the confidentiality of the case and trusting the authorities to whom the case was handed over. He also takes this opportunity to thank everyone who has respected his position/discretion and his work."
